Easter Buddy Adoption Day

GAP is excited to host a special Easter Buddy Adoption Day at The Meadows, Broadmeadows, where for the first time, you can adopt OR foster a greyhound at the same event!

Event Details

  • The Meadows – 80 Northcorp Blvd, Broadmeadows VIC
  • Sunday 13 April
  • 10:30am – Foster Info Session (required for new foster carers)
  • 11:00am–1:00pm – Meet & Greet (Adoption & Foster)

What to Expect

  • Meet around 30 greyhounds looking for loving homes
  • Adopt a greyhound and take home your new family member on the day
  • Foster a greyhound for a 3-week break from kennels (you can take a dog home that day if you attend the info session!)
  • Chat with existing adopters and our friendly team
  • Learn about life with a greyhound – perfect for first-timers

We think she may suit children 10 and over and may also suit living with her own Bruiser– just as long as they are a little robust and happy to play. Her race name suggests ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ but Jess would probably tell you otherwise!

There is something very special about our dear Otto, he had an unfortunate start to life which left his left side of his head a little deflated. He was then kept as a pet to grow up big and strong with his brother until it was time for him to be on the search for a forever home. Apart from his appearance, you would never know there was anything different about him and he has a lot of love to give. This gentle young boy is super sweet and gentle and loves neck scratches. Have you ever seen a happier doggo? My Rattus Maxiums here is a simple lad that enjoys simple pleasures, sleep, walks, more sleep, gentle pats and splashing in the pool when its hot. He can be a little unsure of things at times but that will soon melt away as he learns all about the amazing things in pet life. We think he would be best in a home that is a little more relaxed and laid back so he can spend his days snoozing, enjoying the sunshine and a nice walk or two. He may also suit living with another canine friend of any size and children 10+ that are happy to give him space when needed.
